Mus holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language, an MBA in Marketing from Capella University in the United States, and an MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) from Northern Illinois University. He is currently pursuing an EdD (Doctor of Education). A proficient linguist, Mus speaks English, Arabic, Russian, Kurdish, Turkish, and Malay. With over 24 years of diverse experience, Mus has held numerous roles, including International Marketing Manager at EBM and CureOntour, Local Service Analyst at Shell Service Center in Kuala Lumpur, and International Cultural Adviser for SIEMENS and LUKOIL in the Middle East. He has also worked as an International Student Recruiter at Rockford University and Solex College, and served as a Family Support Specialist and Bilingual Tutor in the Rockford Public School system. His roles have further included Student Assignment Specialist, ESL Teacher, and Community DIEB Manager with the Rockford Park District. In the realm of politics, Mus is honored to be elected as a Rockford Township Trustee and serves as the 3rd Vice President of the Democratic Party.
